During the month of March, Charlotte and I took a walk to the local animal park. There are “free” wild park areas around Germany. The one in Mannheim has pigs, buffalo, deer, and other wildlife. (It looks like they just put fences around the wildlife that originally lived in the area). There are miles of paths through the forest, and one can bike from town to town. There are hidden treasures like a playground and Vogelpark (Birds).
I got some really pretty shots of her and the animals.
Her favorites were the baby pigs, but she didn't want to share the apples we brought to feed them. This happens when we feed Alex (hamster). We remember to bring 2 pieces of fruit or vegetable upstairs to his cage at night because she will want to eat at least one of them.
